You will have a 30-day time frame to use the account, be able to deposit up to $2000, and start trading with us before verification is necessary.
After this period, as soon as you hit the $2000 deposit limit or before initiating any withdrawal, it is mandatory to verify your identity to remove all restrictions and fully enjoy the ability to deposit and withdraw funds without limits.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- To begin adding funds to your account, access the Deposits tab from your account and select Bitcoin via Credit/Debit Card as your deposit type.
- Select the Wallet you would like to add funds to and the Amount you would like to add.
*You can also deposit directly to your Trading Account without creating an internal transfer by tapping on the “platform” button under the Add Money To section. - Click on Go to Payments.
If you DO NOT have an account with the payment provider:
- Select the Sign Up button in the First Time User section and follow the instructions to set up your account.
- Once your account has been set up and verified along with your Credit/Debit card, access your OspreyFX account and click on the Pay button to continue your deposit as an existing user.
If you DO have an account with the payment provider:
- Click on the Proceed button in the Existing User section to start your Bitcoin purchase.

- You will now be redirected to the 3rd Party Provider’s website.
- If you are not currently logged into your 3rd Party Provider’s account, you will need to enter your credentials.
- Once you have successfully logged into your account, you will be able to purchase Bitcoin with your saved and approved Credit Card.
- Select Credit Card as your payment method and choose the Credit Card you would like to use to purchase Bitcoin.
- The remaining information has automatically been added for you, however, you are free to amend values such as the amount you would like to deposit.
- Once the information has been confirmed, tick the box accepting the Terms of Service and click on Pay Now.
- For security purposes, you will be required to further confirm your card details.
- Click on the Pay Now button.
- Your payment has now been finalized!
The status of your deposit request will shortly change to WAITING CONFIRMATION within a few minutes and will be credited to your account within 1-3 hours, depending on the Blockchain network traffic.
